In order to accomplish its goals, Matagiri:

• Creates a space for silent concentration and meditation.
• Maintains a library and archives for reading and research.
• Hosts collective meditations, Darshan gatherings, workshops and conferences that support spiritual growth.
• Supports the practice of the healing, performing and visual arts.
• Functions as a communications matrix for devotees around the world and promotes ongoing exchanges with the Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville.
• Maintain buildings, gardens and land so that they continue to furnish an inspiring setting for our activities.
